Medium Hexagonal Floating Duck House. An hexagonal duck box measuring. Approximately 900 mm in diameter and 650mm tall. The roof lifts off for easy cleaning, egg collecting and general maintenance. This is the only one of its type on the market and is far superior in design to others.

The inside is split into 3 compartments, each with its own access pophole. Timber sides and roof of ex. 16mm x 125mm t & g board.

All timber is externally treated with an animal safe. Other similar products on the market use tanalised.

The problem with this is that the colour will fade after about 6 months. And leave the product looking "dirty grey " in colour.

This will therefore need treating anyway to maintain its aesthetic appearance. Seals the timber and will last 3 - 4 years before requiring a further coat. The duck house sits on an hexagonal floating platform.

Approximately 1.3m in diameter. Constructed from tanalised timber incorporating a rigid 75mm closed cell. Polystyrene float to enable the whole unit to sit on. A pond or lake away from predators. The float also incorporates 3 landing platforms / steps.
