Safetrace is a quick and safe frost protection solution. Designed to be fitted by a competent installer. Supplied ready terminated with in. Line moulded thermostat (switches on at 1°C+-2°C and off at +3°+-2°C), c/w 1.0m long power cable.

The combination of self regulation and temperature control, makes Safetrace complete safe with maximum energy efficiency. It is suitable for both plastic and metal pipes. If cable is too long, you can cut the cable end to length and re. Seal with a spare end seal provided. Safetrace is designed specifically for domestic water pipes that are prone to freezing over the cold winter months.

Each heater comes complete with an inline thermostat and 1 metre supply lead. Simply attach the heater to the pipework, insulate the pipe and connect into a local 230V power supply. The inline thermostats are designed to switch prior to the contents freezing, making it extremely energy efficient.

Self-regulating, therefore no need for aluminium foil. Based on a 2 metre heater the running costs are less than 0.4 pence per hour when activated.
